Incorporating bodywork and mindful practices to enhance physical and mental well-being. Through listening to your needs a program will be created especially for you. Depending on your aims we may work mostly with movement, or breath practices or maybe relaxation techniques or other somatic enquiry practices.

SOMATICS & YOGA =  BODY MIND CONNECTION 

Somatics comes from the Greek word for "living body." Not one person will have exactly the same reaction to the same situation as we have all had different experiences. The body learns how to navigate through its environment, sometimes postural habits or breath patterns developed over time lead to a compromise in movement, mental health problems or chronic pain. Somatics incorporates mindful movement to retrain the nervous system, develop muscle memory and helps us have a better understanding of ourselves as a whole.

 

Yoga Therapy uses the tools of yoga such as breathwork, meditation and movement within the framework of ancient modals such as the chakras to design a personilised program that best fits a person's interests.

 

I combine both techniques to empower you on your way to better health and well-being. I am a qualified yoga therapist and yoga teacher with over 1000hours of training. Somatics and Yoga Therapy compliment each other to provide a deep healing and understanding of the body, mind and breath.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The first session is 90 minutes and after that each session is an hour long. The first session is longer as we will go over a very detailed health form with goals and priorities that I'll ask you to fill out before we begin. Each session starts with checking in and from there we may start doing some movement practices, mindful or somatic practices or something else that may appropriately help you move towards your goal.

 

 

BOOKING OPTIONS

Option one:

Book 5 sessions 

Sessions are usually every other week and last between an hour to ninety minutes. 

You will be given practices to do between the sessions and are able to contact me for support if needed.

 

Investment: I work on a sliding scale:

Full Price: 325€

Lower Price: 275€ 

 

Option two:

Commit to a nine month program and experience sustainable  changes.

 

  • Committing to such a long timeframe will allow the practices you'll learn during our time together to become daily habits, leading to a healthier lifestyle.​

  • Personalised Guidance: You’ll receive customised support, with a longer time together the practices will become more and more tailored to your needs as we form a deeper working relationship. 

  • Goal Setting and Accountability: Regular check-ins help you set specific, achievable goals and keep you accountable for your progress.

  • In-depth Learning: You’ll have the opportunity to explore topics in-depth, deepening your understanding of wellness and personal health.

  • Flexibility: A longer commitment can allow for adjustments based on your evolving needs and circumstances.
